The Aquarian Teacher Program is the KRI Level 1 Certification Program in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®. In Level 1 you will become an instructor and gain a deep understanding and experience of the core science of Kundalini Yoga. You will develop the skills to instruct students in Kundalini Yoga kriyas and meditations as taught by Yogi Bhajan. You will practice teaching Kundalini Yoga in a practicum setting, participate in early morning Sadhanas (spiritual practice) and experience the powerful transformational energy of White Tantric Yoga. 

This 220-hour course includes classroom instruction and home practice in a well defined curriculum which will include:

• Teaching Kundalini Yoga postures

• Kriyas, Meditation, Pranayama

• Mantras, Mudras, Sacred Sound

• Kundalini and Yogic History & Philosophy

• Yogic and Western Anatomy

• Yogic lifestyle

• Develop a clear, calm meditative mind

• Develop a daily yoga practice

KRI Certification Requirements:

• Attendance and participation in all sessions

• Timely payment of all course fees

• Satisfactory teaching practice assessment

• Passing grade on the KRI written exam

• Attendance of 20 KY classes outside the course

Deepen your practice of meditation, clarify the relationship between you and your mind, and explore the basic nature and dynamics of the mind. Our relationship to our own mind is pivotal in effectively realizing our true nature and fulfilling our potential. Yogi Bhajan often reminded us that we come to Earth to experience our humanity and recognize the One Infinite being that creates all and which is in all. The greatest power is the ability to act with a Neutral Mind, to use intuition along with applied intelligence and to lean on the Infinite through the sacred science known as prayer. 

The Mind and Meditation course is intended to illuminate the relationship between you and your mind. Through this powerful experience, you will explore how the mind works in relationship to yourself and others.

You will begin to integrate fundamental concepts about the nature and dynamics of the mind into your life. Perhaps most important of all, you will deepen your meditative practice.

In this transformational Kundalini Yoga Level 2 teacher training, we will explore the following themes of Mind and Meditation:

• The nature of the Mind and how it works

• Focus on your relationship with your own mind.

• How to utilize the positive qualities of the three minds

• How to direct the mind to give you a greater capacity for happiness

• Recognizing and working with the 9 aspects and 81 facets of the mind

• Selecting a meditation-based upon your strengths and challenges

• Advanced meditation techniques and practices

• Developing a successful and rewarding meditation practice

• Increase your ability to observe neutrally, become still, clear your mind of distractions and intrigues, recognize when you establish a state of Shuniya, and recognize the different functional parts of your mind

WHO CAN TAKE THIS COURSE:

Ideally, applicants will hold a KRI level one Certificate in Kundalini Yoga or can already be in the middle of their level 1 Teacher Training, one Level 2 course is accepted for credit during this time of training. Experienced Kundalini Yoga students or yoga teachers of other disciplines of Yoga traditions may also apply for the course and will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion. Only KRI certified Level 1 Instructors may be certified as KRI Level 2 Practitioners.
